• HOMELESS SERVICE PROVIDER

  • The McKinney-Vento Coordinator provides services to families and students in the McKinney-Vento Program, including assisting students with immediate enrollment in school, clothing, school supplies, school fees, free meals, and medical needs that interfere with school performance, i.e., glasses, immunizations, dental, and mental health.  Additionally, we offer referrals for preschool programs, childcare vouchers, afterschool placements, summer placements, and district-hosted summer programs.  Our McKinney-Vento program networks with community agencies to provide direct referrals for food supplies, HUD housing, Head Start placements and many other community resources that allow families and/or students to gain stability. Our program is funded by a three-year competitive McKinney-Vento subgrant and Federal Title I funds.
