• SAVE THE CHILDREN

  • Through a grant from Save the Children, Eagle Mountain students are able to participate in an after-school Literacy program dedicated to promoting Literacy Skills and healthy living. Students who qualify receive after-school tutoring to aid in their growth of literacy skills. Students participate in guided reading and read-alouds to build fluency and vocabulary skills they are learning in the classroom. Students also play fun and healthy games and activities that help teach about healthy lifestyle choices.

For more information or to see if your child qualifies for the program, contact the STC Director, Ms. Vanessa Hendricks (vhendricks@gobsd1.org).
