About Us

  • EAGLE MOUNTAIN ELEMENTARY (EM) is focused on putting students FIRST! Our mission is to Empower Today’s Students for Tomorrow’s Challenges. Students are offered multiple learning opportunities which are grounded in research-based instruction that incorporates hands-on and project-based learning. Special field trips and guest speakers are used to support curriculum standards and encourage real world projects.

EM has a very active parent organization which works closely with the school to offer support to both our faculty and our families. All parents are invited to be involved with school activities such as family literacy and math nights, fall festival, serving as homeroom parents or being a part of the PTO volunteer team “Support Squad.”

The EM faculty is both caring and highly-qualified. Our faculty takes the time to get to know our students personally and care for them as family. The entire staff is focused on our vision of Every Student Growing Every Day. The majority of our teachers have a master’s degree or specialized certificate and are committed to continuous professional development that informs best practice. At Eagle Mountain, we are working as a family for continuous improvement.

Student learning is individualized by teachers with data-driven instruction. We customize a variety of activity classes such as STEAM, technology, physical education, art, music and library/media to the student’s interest. EM offers EAST lab and archery for grades 3-5. Students in grades 4-5 choose different topics each quarter in our creative “Flex Friday” offerings. Cooking, calligraphy, board games, finance/careers, 3-D printing, Reader’s Theater, and Ukulele are just a few of the topical options offered throughout the year.

Eagle Mountain Elementary… where potential meets opportunity!
