Jeremy Hall Joins Ranks in Choral program
BATESVILLE, AR: Batesville School District is excited to announce the appointment of Jeremy Hall as the new Batesville Junior High Charter (BJHSC) Choir Director. A Batesville community native, Hall brings with him a wealth of experience and a passion for choral music education.
Hall is a proud graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in 2009. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master's in Education from Arkansas State University. With 12 years of experience as the Junior High Choir Director at Greene County Tech, Hall has demonstrated remarkable leadership, growing the program from 30 students to over 100 under his guidance.
Prior to joining the Batesville School District, Hall taught for three years at Southside Schools, his alma mater. His dedication to excellence in choral education is evident in the consistent Excellent and Superior ratings his choirs have earned at CPA competitions. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Hall has been actively involved in the Arkansas Choral Directors Association, serving in various leadership roles. He will step into the role of President-Elect in July, showcasing his commitment to advancing choral education throughout the state.
Alicia Davidson, the current Choral Director at Batesville School District, expressed her enthusiasm about Hall joining the team. "We are thrilled to welcome Jeremy back to the Batesville community and to our choral program at BJHSC," said Davidson. "His experience, leadership, and passion for choral music will undoubtedly further elevate our program. I look forward to collaborating with him and witnessing the continued growth and success of our choirs."
Hall's accolades include being recognized as the Region 1 Distinguished Director of the Year twice and receiving the Greene County Tech Junior High Teacher of the Year award.
Outside of his professional achievements, Hall is excited to return to his hometown to spend time with close friends and family, including his nephew, Tucker.
