Parents as Teachers Program is part of the Parent Involvement Program provided by the Batesville School District for children age birth-five years.

The Parents as Teachers Program offers the following services:

· Monthly Home Visiting

· Developmental Screening

· Informational Parent Meetings

· Play Groups

· Connection to Community Resources

Batesville School of the 21st Century Batesville Preschool recognizes the importance of providing support and early education for children and their families starting at birth and continuing until the child is age five.

 

The Parents as Teachers program utilizes the award-winning curriculum “Born to Learn.”  Services are provided to children and their families throughout Independence County free of charge.

 

Program representatives may be contacted at 870-793-0630 for additional information.  Visit the preschool office to register your child.  You are your child’s first and most important teacher.

Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Quality developmentally appropriate books are provided free of charge to all children starting at birth who reside within the Batesville School District.  Each month a new carefully selected book is mailed directly to the child.  He/she can look forward to new and exciting reading adventure from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library until he/she turns five years old as long as you remain within the Batesville School District.
