The Batesville School District has been designated as a School of the 21st Century through the Yale University Bush Center for Child Development.  We realize that there has been a transformation of family life resulting in an unprecedented demand for child care in America. As the number of children spending more time in out-of-home care rises, the need for quality child care services becomes increasingly important.
The Batesville Preschool is a fully licensed facility and has received a State Quality Approval accreditation for several years.  This means that we have exceeded the Minimum Licensing Requirements for child care centers that are mandated by the State Licensing entity.  Batesville Preschool was also the 1999 National Award Winner for Exemplary Program in Early Childhood Intervention.

The Batesville Preschool serves children within the ages of 18 months-5 years in Batesville and the surrounding areas.  Children are placed in classrooms according to their age, developmental level and how comfortable they are in that given environment.

There is a non-refundable $30 registration fee per child and the weekly fees are as follows:  $95 for 18-30 months and $75 for 30 months (and completely potty-trained) to 5 years.  Batesville Preschool participates in the Arkansas Better Chance program.

The Core Knowledge Sequence curriculum is used throughout the preschool programs.  Growing with Math and Sing, Spell, Read and Write curriculums are also used in the pre-kindergarten classrooms.

There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million.
